Collages

Collages are a very quick way of working for me. Within seconds or maybe hours, I create an image out of two paper cutouts. This is the challenge I put to myself: a collage may only be made up out of two pieces, never more, never less.

I most often use old magazines as the pictures are more distant from our lives. They show things that we do not necessarily recognise. This helps create a new image from just two pieces of paper.
